Abstract:
Objective to establish a method for the determination of p-methoxycinnamic acid ethyl ester (EPMC) in Kaempferia japonica. Methods the content of ethyl p-methoxycinnamate was determined by HPLC. The chromatographic column was Thermo BETASIL C18(250 × 4.6, 5 μm): 40,V/V), the flow rate was 1 mL · min-1, the detection wavelength was 309 nm, the column temperature was 30 ℃, and the sample volume was 10 μL. Results the calibration curve of EPMC was linear in the range of 0.6~101.0 μg · mL-1 (r = 0.999 9), and the RSD of repeatability, precision and stability was less than 1.5%; the recovery rate was 96.5% ~ 103.0%,RSD = 2.2%(n = 6). Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can be used for the determination of p-methoxycinnamic acid ethyl ester in kaempferol.Key words:
